Privacy Policy

Who this policy covers
This policy explains how EuropeanPath ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit this website or contact us through it. For any data protection question, write to info@europeanpath.com.
What we collect and why
If you message us on WhatsApp, your phone number and the content of your messages are processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms, and by us to respond to your enquiry. If you email or call us, your contact details and message content are used to respond to you.
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and, if you choose to proceed, to provide our services. The legal basis is your request to be contacted and the steps needed before and during a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and your consent where you give it (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Documents you send us
If you work with us on an application, you may need to share identity or academic documents such as passport copies or certificates. We only request these after a proper consultation, through the conversation you have already started, never through an unsolicited link or a different account. We use them solely to prepare and support your application.
We never ask for payment by gift card, cryptocurrency or transfer to a personal account. If anyone claiming to be EuropeanPath asks for this, treat it as a scam and contact us to verify.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and client data for as long as needed to respond to you or deliver the service you asked for, and afterwards only as long as statutory retention periods (for example under German commercial and tax law) require. If you ask us to delete your data and no legal obligation requires us to keep it, we will.
Hosting, analytics and cookies
This site is hosted on Cloudflare. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or collect personal data to track visitors. No third-party tracking or advertising scripts are loaded, and all fonts are served from our own server.
If you choose a language with the language switcher, we store that choice in a small functional cookie (ep_lang, valid for one year) so the site opens in your language next time. To show the right language on your first visit, Cloudflare tells our site which country your request comes from; this is not stored. These functions are technically necessary for the service you request (ยง 25(2) TDDDG) and do not require consent.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email info@europeanpath.com. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
